Entitlement
Its amazing to me the feeling of entitlement in this country. Theres now a group of liberals wanting to pass legislation for the government to bail out the Americans with foreclosed homes and sub prime loans. This was definently a sad happening and the housing market (and overall American financial markets) have felt the sting of all this in a unbelievable way already. I think it is a bad priciple that everyone has to pay for the bail outs. But I do think the government is resposible for some of the problems. The reason is that once government regulated the lending industry, it seems they were saying we are going to take care of you flolks and not allow lenders to do crazy stuff, well the government failed to protect the small group of Americans that truly got bamboozled. I'm afraid we kind of allowed for the government to open pandoras box.
The best policy will always be accepting personal resposiblilty though.
