Bring Blacks Back to the Right Side
Reparation, hu, what is it good for?
And why do black people need another hand out from the Government? Matter of fact the reparation return policy is way pass its prime. If anyone can prove to me that they have been working on the plantation recently, then they should get reparation.
I used to be a huge advocate for this myself, being the angry black man and all but I had to question the whole thing.
How would you divide the reparations, everyone that consider themselves black or "African-American" aren't "pure" black. Are you going to break down the money according to how "black" someone is? That would cause more problems the solution can cure. It's that drug that the side effects will make your sexual desire go down, produce anal leakage, headaches, and in some cases death, just so you can get 8 hours of sleep. Not a great trade off.
This would just cause a bigger division in an already divided people. I get more money because I have two black parents. How about those that are black and white, do they have to pay themselves? Or does his or her white parent have to pay his or her own family?
Where is the money going to come from? The government? Well the money in the government is already mixed with black money and white money so we should end up paying a portion of our own reparations.
Maybe we are going to take the money from white peoples paychecks and put it in a "Reparation pool" right next to FICA. Sound great uh? but that will be discrimination and against the constitution. So where is the money going to come from?
And why would the first black president (this is a very very hypothetical situation in which Obama will be the first) worry about reparations when there are other issues to focus on that affects us as American more than just getting free money? He's running a whole country not an advocate for just a minority. Leave that up to the NAACP...wait they don't really don't anything for black people anymore, my bad.
I personally don't want a hand out from the government that's why I don't want anything to do with reparation, welfare, or even affirmative action. If you really want to go forward as a people become independent; open business, become doctors and lawyers, and CEO's. (there are only 6 black CEO's in fortune 500 companies and is shrinking more and more)
Don't just want to become rappers or sling rock or have a wicked jump shot. Don't make white people call you an affirmative action hire (oh he got the job because of Affirmative Action, a white man lose a job because of him) %#&@$! that Do for yourself.
