Captain of a slowly sinking Amistad

Greetings all! We appreciate ALL the information about the Republican Party that has been sent to us and given by way of sponsorship. But I come to you now, not as an official but as the Captain of a sinking vessel. I say that because the Southern University chapter of College Republicans is dying out. We are not reaching the minority student. I feel as if I have failed my peers. I feel as if my efforts have been wasted by way ineffective measures! So, this year I’m graduating and my organization is 'dropping out'. I see that this is a battle that without the correct resources and the proper cabinet cannot be victorious in a win. I have tried to find us an advisor we failed; we fundraised on our own but came out spending more than earning more! I hate to sound liberal but where are OUR supporters? I started the blog that failed! I think I feel most defeated not by the fact that we made some bad decisions but because we made those decision over and over again and no one was there to tell us what we were doing that was to be corrected in order not get the same results. Insanity is the state of mind of doing the same things over and over again, not learning, and expecting to get a different outcome. In short, we will no longer be in attendance at any state convention this year, nor any future events unless there is a miraculous chain of events that can happen in order to continue this fight. Thanks for ALL that you have done and I hope that everyone else’s future endeavors come to pass.
