Since the time that John F Kennedy ran for President,and with Martin Luther King Jr helped change the civil Rights policies of the United States.African Americans have voted Democratic as an whole.Given no choice at that time with the racial politics of segregation,and unequal rights supported by far right side of the republican party,But 40 years after the dream ,the political landscape has changed dramatically.The most pressing problem in the black community is no longer civil rights or other social economic conditions as many would suggest,but rather an move away from our core spiritual beliefs with the Far Left Liberal wing of the Democratic party leading the way.The move away from our long held conservative beliefs are at the heart of the problems. That plague our community today with Families consisting of an single parent,Churches no longer teaching the gospel of Jesus, but an new doctrine of prosperity,and self empowerment that no longer puts the holy Spirit as the most vital teacher and leader of the African American race,and although the republican party has embraced the conservative movement they have done very little to reach out to the African American community to assure us in any way that there has been an change in the policies of division,and hate.even though many would say they have.It"s time for us as African Americans to start thinking about casting our vote not just out of blind loyalty to one party or another,but for the candidate that best represents our spiritual values.
